Closing payroll meant hand-verifying thousands of punches with no guided path and real money on the line.

The problem
Payroll closure is where attendance data becomes money. Before this work, admins hand-verified punches table by table, with nothing telling them what was done, what was risky, or what would happen when they hit lock.
